Florida insurers must offer discounts for a home's wind-resistant features: roof-to-wall connections, roof deck attachment, secondary water barriers and impact-rated openings. They can only credit what's documented on the state's official form, OIR-B1-1802.
We inspect your home, photograph every feature, and complete the form so you can send it to your insurance agent. A completed form is generally valid for up to 5 years.

Common questions
We build the structural portion — excavation, steel, gunite shells, structural walls, and pool decks. Florida Statute §489.113(3)(c) allows a general contractor to perform structural swimming pool work without subcontracting it, and requires all other pool work to be subcontracted to an appropriately licensed pool contractor. So the interior finish, perimeter and filter piping, and equipment are handled by a licensed pool and spa contractor, coordinated by us on the same schedule.
